
Sri Ramakrishna Institute of Technology houses a well-equipped library for the benefit of undergraduates and postgraduates. Three libraries are available — Central Library, Library Research Resource Centre, and MBA Library. The library has a stock of 44,263 books, 3,147 CDs, 736 Periodical CDs and 2,623 Back Volumes of Periodicals. Subscriptions to 128 National Periodicals, Elsevier e-Journal Database, DELNET and National Digital Library are available. Open source platforms like NPTEL and Khan Academy are also accessible. The library functions from 8:45 AM to 7:30 PM on working days and 8:45 AM to 5:00 PM on holidays.

Sri Ramakrishna Institute of Technology has agreed to set up a research lab called e-Yantra Lab — a Robotics and Embedded Systems Lab — in association with IIT-Bombay. Each department is equipped with state-of-the-art laboratories to provide hands-on learning experience. The labs are furnished with the latest hardware, software and instruments to support both curriculum requirements and advanced research activities.

SRIT fosters a culture of innovation and entrepreneurship through dedicated smart classrooms and technology-enabled learning spaces. Twenty-six classrooms are equipped as smart classrooms with LCD projectors, cordless microphones, amplifiers, cameras, speakers and UPS. An EDUSAT hall enables live two-way interactive audio-video lectures by expert faculty from IIT and Anna University, bridging the gap between classroom learning and frontier research.

The college has planned playground facilities for all outdoor and indoor games. The Department of Physical Education is headed by Dr. P. Velusamy. Students have excelled in various inter-college competitions. Recent achievements include Anna University Zone 10 — Ball Badminton Women Runner Up, Table Tennis Men Runner Up, Football Men Third Place, Table Tennis Women Third Place, Basketball Women Fourth Place, and KGISL Trophy Kabaddi Tournament Men Third Place (all 2024).
